Founding Partner, Specialist on immersive learning and design
Johanna’s education and research on collaborative learning and social interaction in web-based learning environments has been the foundation of NoviCraft game and its scientific background. Her strengths are in applying theoretical knowledge into practice in order to grasp the core mechanisms of intelligent human actions. Johanna enjoys to learn and work with inspiring people and create something new together. Her doctoral thesis manuscript is currently under review and she expects to defend her thesis at the Research Unit for Learning and Educational Technology at the University of Oulu in early spring 2011. Her core research interest are in intersubjective meaning making, collaborative learning, technology-supported learning, social interaction, multiplayer games and serious games.
