- Wed, 24 Feb 2010 19:05:09 +0000 - There are things that you cannot talk about. But it does not mean that the things would not exist.

- Suomalainen konsensuskulttuuri
- Fri, 19 Feb 2010 16:30:12 +0000 - Sitran strategisen suunnittelun johtaja Marco Steinberg Kauppalehti Optiossa (18.2.2010) hoksauttaa, että kun suomalaiset etsivät uusia ideoita, he perustavat työryhmän jonka he laittavat suljettuun huoneeseen.

- Learning while pursuing shared understanding
- Tue, 16 Feb 2010 10:19:09 +0000 - What is learning again? One approach close to my heart and Ph D is to look at it as something that occurs because of our efforts towards shared understanding in social situations. This effort corresponds to the interactions, such as rephrasing and explaining, which are necessary to co-construct a shared understanding of the domain.

- Heikot signaalit
Ideointivaiheessa mieleen muistuivat valitukset kaikkialla risteilevistä piuhoista – heikot signaalit olivat siis ratkaisevassa [...]

- Dynaaminen asiantuntijuus
Keskeistä on tapa lähestyä ongelmanratkaisutilanteita, lähestynkö ongelmia ylhäältä vai alhaalta käsin?
Vastakohta dynaamiselle asiantuntijuudelle on rutiiniasiantuntijuus, jolle on tyypillistä nojautua [...]

- Creating the new
- Wed, 03 Feb 2010 11:37:36 +0000 - What is learning?
One way to see it is to think of learning as creating “the new” rather than giving back what is already known.
And learning can be seen in the performative – you have not learned it unless you can do it.

- Inventive powers
- Tue, 19 Jan 2010 13:54:27 +0000 - “Even if no one has ever assigned the adjective “original” to anything you have ever done, you must acknowledge that you have inventive powers.”
